Sun-soaked courtyard garden, Praa Sands

A lovely little redesign of this south-facing garden. The original space was overgrown and time consuming to maintain. The new garden has a spacious terrace in luxurious pale limestone paving, bordered by a new perching wall made from reclaimed granite. Rounded river cobbles form a path alongside the house, referencing the existing cobbled path outside the garden. The lawn was reduced and planted gravel borders introduced with an unusual selection of perennials as the client loves the naturalistic planting movement.
